Kyiv Medical University Coming back to the history of the Kyiv Medical University I would say that at the beginning it was founded as a Medical Faculty at the University and first 22 medical students were accepted. It was in 1841. Then, in 1844 the University Hospitals were organized. At present, the Kyiv Medical University is well-developed organization with well-experienced staff. The Medical University is represented by four faculties; 1) Faculty of Physicians and Surgeons; 2) Faculty of Padiatrics; 3)Faculty of Dentistry; 4)Faculty of Hygiene. I studied at the Faculty of Physicians and Surgeons. In 1985 I was transfered from the Vinnytsya Medical University to the Kyiv Medical University, and in 1987 I graduated from the Medical School. I studied basic(Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, etc.) as well as clinical sciences(Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Internal Deseases, etc.) I always remenber with interest the years of study at the University. Especially, I remenber well how I memorized Latinized anatomic terminology when I was a first year medical student. Bogdan GERASHCHENKO
ボグダン君は1998年10月から、本学理学部生物科学科原生生物学講座に博士課程大学院生として所属し、細胞分裂を研究しています。1987年にキエフ医科大学を卒業後1998年まで、1986年4月26日のチェルノブイリ原発事故に関連して設立された放射能医学研究センター(Research Center for Radiation Medicine)に内科医師として勤務していました（細谷浩史 記）。 |
